The BRC (British Retail Consortium) certificate is a global standard of food safety developed by the British Retail Consortium. The BRC certificate is required by the majority of hypermarkets all over Europe. The BRC specifies a number of requirements that must be fullfilled by a company to provide the highest quality and safety of its products – during the production, packaging, storing and distribution process.
